This is my first blog post in a long time, and if I’m honest, I’ve been putting this off.
Not because I didn’t want to write again, but because whenever I asked God about what He wanted me to say, all that came to mind was one word: TRUST.
Honestly, all I could think was, “That’s it, God? One word?” But what I didn’t realize was how trust is the foundation of the Christian life. I mean, we trust in a God we can’t see, a Savior we’ve never physically met, and grace & love that seem impossible by human standards, but no matter what we believe in life, we have to trust. There isn’t a way around it.
Which is something I tend to struggle with sometimes, something we all tend to struggle with. We like things easy. We want them to make sense. At least, I know I do.
But here’s the thing, if we have a God we cannot comprehend, why do we believe that His ways, His plans, and His Words are things we are going to able to understand? The truth is, we can’t.
But we do have a choice: We can either go crazy and be filled with anxiety trying to understand things that are too heavy for us, or we can TRUST God and be filled with a peace beyond comprehension. Because even though letting go and trusting God can sometimes make the least sense, it will bring you the most peace and the most joy.
From my experience, when you finally just let go, that’s when you will start to see God work and move in ways more significant than you could have ever prayed for or made happen yourself.
I know that it can be hard to trust Him, but the more you do it, the easier it will get because you can look back and see His faithfulness in the past.
Something I heard one time but can’t remember where is, “The character of our God is faithful, and He cannot depart from that.” which is so true.
“The character of our God is faithful, and He cannot depart from that.”
Hebrews 13:8 says that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
We can trust that He is reliable because He never changes. He’s the same God no matter what season you are in. He is just as good in the shadows as He is in the light, and no matter what happens, He is worthy.
But just as He never changes, His Word never changes either, and when He says something is going to happen it will happen, no matter how impossible it seems. Remember that His Words are the beginning and the end. Just as He said “Let there be light,” and there was light, and as He will give the Word for Jesus to return, so do His Words begin and end all seasons.
I want you to hear me on this. You are not alone in your season. It is not a coincidence that you are here today. God is the Master of all seasons, and He has a purpose for what you are going through. God is purposeful in ALL that He does, and He will deliver you at the right time. Maybe not your timing, but whenever you look back, you will be glad that it wasn’t your timing.
In the meantime, while you are waiting, He is your strength, so that no matter what happens, you will be able to stand. He will not let His beloved fall, so do not fear and TRUST Him.
Isaiah 43:1b-2 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine. When you pass through water, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
Isaiah 40:28-31 “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall and be exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

“I want you to hear me on this. You are not alone in your season. It is not a coincidence that you are here today. God is the Master of all seasons, and He has a purpose for what you are going through. God is purposeful in ALL that He does, and He will deliver you at the right time. Maybe not your timing, but whenever you look back, you will be glad that it wasn’t your timing.”

Zoe! You have prepared me mentally for this new school year through the quote I copied and pasted above. Which are your exact words. What do I mean by this? Each day as I wake and prepare myself for work I’m alone in doing so because I’m the only one awake. Though the Lord is with me spiritually; but as a human, I go into the depths of hell as I approach my work place in a public school system alone because no one around me has the same beliefs or values I do. There’s maybe 3 percent of us in the school that believe the same way according to God’s Word, which is scary. I can only trust in the Lord’s favor though I can’t see it but know it exist because of faith in Him who is greater than my troubles. Your statement, “God is purposeful in ALL that He does, and He will deliver you at the right time” was a wake up call for me today. Thank you Zoe for your zeal in the Lord and the profound words in your blog. God bless you always.
That is amazing!! Praise God!!💗🎉
